The Designer & The Baker
I was so excited to photograph this wedding. What made this especially exciting was that Eve and Solomon have an incredible taste in fashion. Solomon's monochrome double breasted suit was something to behold and Eve's dress was a work of art - she made it herself! It was such a privilege to be asked to photograph the wedding of two incredibly creative people. They gave me so much space to create art for them. This is the kind of trust a photographer LOVES.
The morning started at Solomons apartment. A artistic abode soaking in the natural light of the morning sun. I had a lot of fun experimenting with light and shadow as I captured the grooms details. After I finished with the groom and his family, I made my way to Eve's getting ready location - this gorgeous heritage building in the heart of Strathfield. I was blown away by this space. From the furniture, to the decor, to the very walls. I was surrounded by history and it paired well with the brides whole aesthetic. Pinterest worthy? Yes I think so!

We then made our way to the ceremony. The ceremony was held in a beautiful church. Florals were styled by Wild Jasmine Studio. I really loved the minimalist decor. Sometimes less is more and in this case there wasn't a doubt in my mind. After the ceremony, we had the opportunity to sneak in some timeless bridal photos in and around the church.

Eve & Solomon decided to do their reception a little different. They hosted a luncheon at Oliveto Ristorante & Bar in Rhodes. The sun was gleaming through the large glass windows. I loved the way the light hit the table decor. I would highly recommend an elegant afternoon luncheon for people looking at doing their wedding a little bit different.

Once the formalities were complete. I stole Eve & Solomon away for a couple shoot. We started with photos just outside Oliveto and then made our way to Blaxland Riverside Park to finish off their wedding day with a glorious sunset.

Eve & Solomon were the kind of couple every photographer dreams of shooting. They did their wedding the way they wanted to and it showed. This is really all you need to make your wedding an event that you won't regret. When planning your wedding - stay true to who you are and not what other people expect. This will change everything.
